There were no cases for "hearing; ...either iii the.-Warden's or Kesident Magistrate's Courts. The only business the grant of an extended claim to Herlihey and Company, and the issue ot' some miners' rights, and renewal of water licenses. To Harlihcy's application, there had been an objection lodged. The hearing ot this occupied some time, but it was finally decided to grant the claim,; except--iug only, a portion claimed by M' Donald aud-Tivnijvvau, and subject to their right for a taiirace. ,
