Kesident Magistrates's Cottbt. _ , (Belore H. W. Robinson, Esq., R.M.) M. Murphy was fined 20s. for being drunk and disorderly. Information under dog nuisance Ordinance for having two dogs unregistered.—The defendant, who was a shepherd, said that one of - the dogs was registered, but he had lost the ticket. He now produced a memorandum froma sergeant of police to the effect." that the dog had been duly registered. As regarded the othe/ one the defendant said he had only had it for three weeks before the date of the information; .and had intended to register it. The Magistrate remarked that the offence being admitted as regarded one dog he had no alternative but to impose a penalty, and would inflict'the smallest fine, viz., £2, and costs 15s.v6d. > ' Slaughtering License.—li. Donaldson applied for slaughtering license. The application was granted. •Wahdex's Couut. (Before H. W. Robinson, Esq., Warden.)
