RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.—May 23.

Child Desertion.—Frederick King was brought up on remand, charged with the above offence. Jso communication, however, having been received from Dunedin since; the case was last before the Court, the accused was again remanded for one week, with bail extended.
Drank and Disorderly..—Jamas Cannon, charged with this offence, was fined 20s. .
. John Smith, charged with being drunk and incapable, discharged with a caution.
