WARDENS' REPORTS.

(To the Editor of the Mottnt Ida. Ch^'okicle.) Sir, —Gan you please inform me for what purpose the Wardens, in their reports, misquote the price of gold ? In Warden Beetham's last report, he quoted the price at Queenstown at 775. Gd. per oz.; in last Friday's issue of the Times,' Warden Pyko, of Dunstan, quotes .it at 7ds. Both these q notations are incorrect. No doubt some

portions of these, reports are-corre 't, and a little trouble might make them entirely so.—l am, &c.; r ; Anti-Humbug.
