After hearing all the evidence the "Warden determined to view the : ground on the following day. Next morning, in presence, ot all the parties, the Warden inspected the race of the defendants, and the line surveyed for that of the plaintiffs, at the place complained of. A judgments was eventually given, by consent, that the defendants should " table off " the ground for the plaintiffs' race to a distance of not less than 10 feet from their race at all points where their race had. been made too close to tiffs' surveyed line. The hearing of the mining lease application of the All Nations Company was adjourned till March 12, at the Court House, Naseby. The following, among other, applications were granted All Nations Co., water race from Bush ; Creek ; same company, water race from north fork of south branch of Maerewhenua river ; Ash croft and another, water race from Qtekaike ; J. Ash croft, water race from the . Awakino ; Robinson, and others, prospe'ctihg claim on quartz reef on a spur of Ben Lomond, between the Otekaike and' Maerewhenua rivers; and about two, miles from the Otekaike station .; O'Dorinell- and Murray, water race from Golden Gully ;- Pringle and another, water race from - Pringle's Gully; M'Quade and others, 2 additional heads of water for their race held under license No. 1035.
