* HIMATANGi-SANSON HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION. TO ABSORB UNEMPLOYED. Mr. W. E. Barber, chairman of the Manawatu County Council, received word this afternoon that the Main Highways Board has sanctioned £IOOO on a £3 to £1 subsidy for the Hima-tangi-Sanson highway, in order to provide work for the unemployed.
