DRUIDS LODGE.

AN ND A L INSTALLATION

The annual installation ceremony in connection with the local Druids Lodge was held in the Masonic Hall last Thursday evening. Visitors were present from the ■Onnia Lodge, Palmerston North, and Lodge Horowhenua, Levin. District President Bro. D. Ball presided and installed the following officers elect ilito their respective chairs for the ensuing- year: — J.P.A., Bro. A. H. AfcGill. Arch Druid, Bro. G. Cull; V.A., Bro. T. Yardley; secretary, Bro. E. Fuller; treasurer, BYo. E. Parkin; 1.G., Bro. G. Shaw; 0.G., Bro. G. Westwood; A.D. Bards, Bro. N. Cresswell and Sister'Fuller; V.A. Bards, Bro. T. Fuller and Sister Shorthouse; minute secretary, P.A. Bro. W. Mclvuight. Bro. IW. AfcKuiglit was unanimously elected as Grand Lodge delegate to the P.D.C.

(P.D.C. Bro. F. Woods' acted in his usual capable manner as M.C. during the installation.

At the conclusion of the ceremony D.P. Bro. D. Ball was congratulated on the excellent- manner in which he had carried out the duties of his office, it being considered that his work was of a very high standard which had rarely been equalled locally, At the conclusion of business the lodge entered into harmony when nn enjoyable programme -and sumptuous supper provided by the social committee was much appreciated.
