PECULIAR FATALITY.
POST MORTEM ORDERED

By order of Coroner Hunt, a Imst mortem examination is to be made of tlic body of Mrs. Linda Rubina Page, aged 35, who was I omul dead in a waterhole at Silverdale yesterday afternoon. This action followed the inquest which was opened this morning and adjourned sine die after evidence of identification had been given. Mrs. Page lived about two iniles on the Wade beads side At’ Silveruale, and it was her custom to go into the township to buy her provisions. On her way she had to walk over a plank which crossed a tidal creek. According to evidence given at the iuquosl, Edward iCecii Charles Hart went lo meet Mrs. Page and found her dead in a waterhole 3 feet deep. Hart explained to the coroner that Mrs, Page was divorced three months ago and since then lie and she had been living together as man and wife. Hart said on arriving at the creek he had noticed parcels on the bank. They appea-rud Lo have been placed on the ground. “1 could not sec any signs of a. struggle, ” fie added, “but there was a mark down the bank from the path to the waterhole. Her bat was by tbe parcels and LJiere was a bruise on her lu rehead.”
