SI'MAIL It SHOW N-I&XT FRIDAY.
A reminder is given of the local I forlieulturnl 'Society’s summer show to he held next Friday. Local residents are asked to >.ciid along fruit, Mowers, and vegetables, as every entry will help Ihe Society and may win a prize. Splendid trophies are ottered for competition this show. Tin; chann pion rose trophy, presented by Mr. 11. Hughes, is well worth trying for and is to be won outright this time. The perpetual cup for most points tor both shows should also attract good entries.
The Society would appreciate donations for the sweets and cake stalls. .Mrs. Hatchett and assistants will provide! afternoon lea in conjunction with the cake and sweet stall on this occasion, which should be appreciated by patrons. Children are reminded not to lorget to have school entries at the Town Hall for judging by 4 p.m. oil Thursday, November 20th. Pianoforte competitors post entry dav of the show.
