SWIMMING.
The annual meeting of the Manawalu Swimming Centre was held in Palmerston North on - Tuesday evening.
The following officers were elecled for the ensuing year:—Patron, -Mr. A. .J. Graham; president, Air. A. D. Campbell; vice-presidents, Messrs EL Parsonage (Feilding), M. E. Perreau (Foxton), F. ;R. Lewis (Apollo), .1. A. Walsh (Pahiatua), 11. Jones (Levin), R. lladdon (Y.M.C.A.), 11. T. Russell (Daimeviiike) 1 , A. McKogg (Terrace End), W. L. Fifodierbert (R.L.IS. Society), and in addition, Alessrs A. E. Mansford, E. E. Short, '\Y. C. Vollier, G. 11. Neal and Mi's. E. H. Fisher; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. R. lladdon; lion, auditor, ALr. N. I. Nielson; local officer, Mr. A. D. Campbell; starter, Mr. J. T. Fahey; water polo referee, instructor and selector, Air. P. ‘Robbie; lime-keepers, Alessrs K. McCulloch, Weston ,J. Smith, C. P. Nash, A. C. Alacphersqn, G. /11. Neal, If. Smilhers and A. Ilossie; representative on N.Z. Council, •Mr. A. R. Jacobson; executive committee; the ICouncil. After discussion it was decided to hold over, until the executive committee meeting, Hie matter of allocating gala dates to the various clubs. It was agreed to allow Levin to stage its carnival on December .1(1 while other fixtures, not definitely decided upon, were suggested as follows: Palmerston N., January .14; Dannevirke, January 17; Levin, January 21; Feilding, first night of Feilding Show (probably February 1); Y.M.C.A., February .11; Apollo, February 4; Danntjvirku, February 21; R.L.S. Society, March 10; Levin, March 11.
