A line tribute to the scheme is contained in a letter written in August to the Commissioner by the chairman of directors of the N.Z. Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., at Hamilton, in which he states: “The rural intermediate credit scheme as arranged between your Board and this company has i endered excellent service to our suppliers,fand-The relationship existing . between your Board and my company has been appreciated by us, and I bave no hesitation whatever in saying that it has been worked without'anything to mar the progress of the applications received.”
