HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram dated Ist instant from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: — Hemp: —Manila eased under selling pressure early this week, “K” grade November-January shipments sold £2l 10/- but closed steadier and business has been dull .at £22. Sisal: —Market dull, slightly easier, closing sellers afloat Ist grade fair average quality £2l, October'December shipment £2l 5/-. Javanese pressed for sale about as low as £2l 10/- any position. Mexican unchanged no small sales reported. New Zealand: —Market quiet, nominal value unchanged and no Ist hand sales reported.
