Arthurs won the Palmerston Xorth-'Wblliington itoad raee on Saturday, covering the distance in the-remarkably good time of 5 hours 41 minutes, and arriving Basin Reserve at 3.11 p.m. E. Robinson, one of the local riders, finished in 26th .place. W. Hussey, the other local rider and last year’s winner of the event, did not complete the distance, dropping out at Jolmsonville.
