THE MOTOR SPORTS.

The recent rains have been of great benefit to the local racecourse and the track promises to be in first class condition for the motor sports to be held next Monday. The committee has everything well in hand and given a lino day the meeting should prove a record. The Association has this year had eonstjructed a new lap hoard which will be put in operation for the first time on Monday and should assist the public generally in following the races. '’The best riders in the Dominion have nominated and racing should be of the best. Provision has jbeen made to eater for picnic parties on the excellently appointed grounds.
