The balance-sheet of the Fox- ■ lon Surf and Life Saving Club shows that steady progress has been made by the .Club since its inauguration twelve months ago. Receipts are as follows: —Donations £22 3/-, subscriptions £2 5/-, costumes and badges £2 19 raffles £4 9/(i, proceeds from euchre parties .£2(5 19/(5, beach collections £0 33/3, swimming carnival £4 13/10, dances £l9 16/11, donations Basket Ball Cluib towards lighting 10/-, a total of £B7 10/-.
Expenditure : —‘Costumes £7 12/-, hats (5/-, (petty cash £6, badges £4 10/(5, . advertising and stationery £l3 4/3, presentation (P. Bums) £3 7/8, transport £3 4/-, signwriting £1 2/6, rent of hall £1 15/0, buying lights £2, Bank charges and cheque hook 14/-, balances cash in hand (id, cash in Bank £45 13/1, a total of £B7 10/-. STATEMENT OP ASSET'S AND LLViBJLETIES. Assets: —Life Saving reel and accessories £22 2/(5, pennant £1 10/-, sundry debtors, S. Austin, 'lights £l, outstanding subs. £1 17/-, outstanding on costumes £1 (>/-, stock of costumes on hand (4 at 1(5/-) £3 4/-, balances: iOash.on hand Od, cash in Bank N.Z. £45 33/1, a total of £745 13/1. Liabilities: —Nil.
The annual meeting of the Club will be held in Harvey’s rooms at 8 o’clock to-imorrow evening when it is- hoped that all members and Intending members will be present.
