ARREST OF COURT OFFICIAL.
1 Auckland, Last Night. Vincent 'Cranliehl Butcher, aged 28, said by the police lo lie a clerk in the Magistrate's Court at Wellington, was arrested in a cabin on boajrd tin* steamer Ulimaroa just before the Vessel sailed this morning. ■The arrest was made on a war-\ rani, alleging that Butcher on October .15, stole £llß 16/-, the properly of the Government, On his appearance in Court he was remanded to Wellington.
