OPERA “MARITANA.”
TO WIN HALL—MONDAY NIGHT. Ihe Levin Operatic Society will produce ihe over-popular opera “Ataritaiia’’ before a Foxtou audience iii the Town Half on Monday night, tn order that the local public, may witness this costly production at a price in keeping with the times, the prices of ■admission have been reduced to the lowest possible minimum, viz., 1/fi O' the circle and front stalls and 1/- hack seats and half price for children. The opera will be produced under the direction of Madame Eugene and Mr. Edward Dennis. The caste o'f characters has been selected from the host district latent and the production will surpass anything in the amateur lint* yet produced in the district. A full orchestra will accompany the choruses and render the incidental music. The dressings and settings are on an elaborate scale. The performance will commence ai 7.45 pan. sharp. Half the proceeds of the performance will be handed over to the Hqxton District High School funds.
