PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

LADIES’ SOCIAL GUILD

There was a. very good attendance at the monthly meeting of the Presbyterian Ladies’ Social. Guild held at the residence of Mrs. Alex. Ross, Purcell Street, yesterday afternoon. Two interesting competitions were won hv Mesdames J. Thomson and lan Ross. After a dainty afternoon tea had been dispensed, routine business was discussed. It was decided to hold a social in the schoolroom on the third Friday of this month and arrangements in connection with same were finalised. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the hostess on the motion of Mrs. Nicholas.
