'SHANNON .CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual general meeting of members oT the Shannon Tennis Club was held last week. ‘Thu balance-sheet showed that after paying £25 .off the mortgage the Club had a credit balance of £24 1/11 at the end of the season.
The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: —President, Mr. E. T. Moody (reelected) ; vice-presidents, Mesdames Cronquest and T. Moyniham and Messrs J. T. Bovis and F. Thurston; secretary, Mr. G. Cundy; club captain, Mr. W. Goodwin; selectors, club captain, secretary and Mrs. T. Moynihan; committee, Messrs Ewart, Robinson, W. Goodwin, Mesdatries Moyliihan, Mark and Cronquest; auditor, Mr. Brann. It was, decided that the subscriptions he, ladies £l, gents £1 10/-, with a rebate of 5/- to each member if subscriptions are paid before 31st December; junior members 7/6. All junior members’ subscriptions to be paid within one month.
The fixing of the day for opening the Club’s season was left to the committee to arrange.
