AND SHEEP WORRYING. The depredations of Alsatian dogs among sheep in the Manawatu were mentioned to the Alinister of Internal Affairs, Hon. P. A. die ia Perrelle, by Air. J. Linklater (Ref., ATanawatu), in the House of Representatives on Thursday. Mr. Linklater asked whether the Government would consider increasing the registration fee for Alsatians. It was felt, he said, that in this way the num'U'r would decrease. Alsatians were causing concern to farmers. The Alinister said it was not proposed to make any alteration in the Dog Registration Act this session. He would note the question for future consideration. There have not been any complaints from sheep-farmers in ill is district re sheep-worrying by Alsatian dogs. As a matter of fact there are no dogs of this particular breed in the lower Alaua.watn.
