PRESBYTERIAN SOCIAL.

The last of the series of socials, organised by the Presbyterian Ladies’ Social Guild, was held in the schoolroom last evening and was largely attended. A most enjoyable and versatile programme was arranged by the committee, Mesdames J. Ross, Stevenson, Barron and Miss Patterson. The following contributed items: —Piano duet, Misses Patterson and Barron; songs, Messrs Barron and Smith; musical monologue, .Miss Stevenson; recitation, Rev. Mr. Tapp. .The compel ifions were won by Misses L'la Thomson, Barron and Thompson, Mrs. Thomson and Bruce Smith.

The usual daily supper brought i very pleasant evening to a close.
