REMAINS WASHED ASHORE.

.SOUTH OP THE tyANGTTTKEI RIVER. The upper portion of a human body was found washed up on the coast, about 3A miles south of Rangitikei River yesterday afternoon.

It is behoved to he portion of the body of Colin Campbell, who along with Victor Diewmau, set out from IBuils on a fishing expe(iitiim on the morning of August 11. The two men were never seen again, although their boat was washed up north of the heads. It is presumed that the remains were brought ashore by the morning’s tide. Since the fatality the police have periodically patrolled the beach between the Manawatu and Rangitikei Rivers.
