GENERA L MEETING. A general meeting of the Foxton Surf and Life Saving Club way held in Harvey’s rooms last evening when liwwo were present: Messrs B. Adams, \V : . Hus--wy. (J. Shaw, J. Barratt, E. Morgan, L. King, A. Vertongeu and l lie secretary (Mr. E. Aisop). Mr. Aisop was voted to the chair and routine business was dealt with. A. Martin was elected a now member.

It was decided that the patrols commence practice for the forthcoming' season on Friday evening next, at 7.30 o’clock. Preliminary arrangements were made in connection with a dance In be lieid on Ihe 23rd September. Accounts were passed for payment and a vote of thanks to the chair concluded the meeting.
