S l/C'CESS'PU'Ii ItiFPORTV A sale of work and social afternoon was held in the Town Hall snipper- room yesterday under the auspices of All Saints' Ladies' Guild. There was a good attendance, and the effort was very successful hoi li from a social and financial point of view. The stalls and stallholders were as follows: —iPlain and fancy sewing, Aiesda.mes Walton, jChristie, Owen,Misses Mouutfort and Allen; sweets, Alesdames J. H. and J. \\ r . Robin - .-am ai id Misses N. and L. Robinson; cake stall, Alesdames C. and ■O. Robinson, Bryant and Austin; prodjuce stall, Alesdames C. Symons, Moore, Edwards, Warwick and G. P. Smith.
A dainty afternoon tea was dispensed under the supervision of Alesdames Trueman, Lee, Newth and iC'arniont.
The nail-driving competition was won ‘by Aliss Speirs.
