FOXTON LUNCH CLUB

The monthly meeting of the Foxton Lunch Club was held iu Whyte’s Hotel to-day presided over by Rev. W. H. Walton. The speaker was Mr. Edward Newman who took for liis subject, “New Avenues of Wjealth for New Zealand.” At the conclusion of his address the speaker was accorded a vote of thanks on the motion of Messrs J. K. Hornlblow and M. E. Perreau. Those present at the meeting were Messrs S. H .Poole, J. Newton, W. E. Barber, M. E. Perreau, F. A. Mason, R. Sorbie,F. H. Murray, R. Horinblow, J. Martin, R. M. Parkes, W. Trueman. B. Walton was a visitor. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs R. J. Thompson, D. R. Ogilvy, W. H. Nicholas, and 'CL M. Hewett.
