The friends of Air. A. It. Osborne will be pleased to learn that there is au improvement in his condition. Air. J. 11. Reid, of Wellington, in spending a holiday in Box ton with his son, Air. H. Reid, of Hall Street. The friends of AH'. S._ Davey, of Manawatu Heads, will regret to learn that he is an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital. Mrs. L. Of. Mercer, of Greyniouth, is at present visiting Poston and is staying with ’Mr. and Mrs. W. Nye, of Park 'Street. Air. 11. Bright, of Nor’biton Road, is at present in Nelson, where he recently underwent an operation. He is progressing satisfactorily. Mrs. L. VVJilliaiiis, of Union St., who recently underwent a course of training at St. Helen’s Hospital, Wellington, has received official notification that she lias passed her State Maternity Nurse’s examination. Airs. Williams intends to practice her profession locally. \
