The treasurer reported as follows at last night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council: — During the month of July the sum of £547 19/4 was received and hanked as follows: —Cemetery A/c. £lB 15/-, Drainage Construction Loan £7J. 10/10, District Fund A/c, £457 13/6. The ledger balances at the 31st July were, ns follows:—Accounts at debit totalled £3555 12/9 and were made up as follows: —Gasworks £SOB 0/1, general £1134 12/5, Hospital Board £199 15/1, Interest £1713 5/2. The accounts at credit were: — Rate arrears £7O 7/10, cemetery £l4l 3/8, Drainage Construction Loan £328 l'fi/8, heavy traffic fees £ls 5/5, library £l9 2/-, reserves £()9 9/9, Town Hall £217 8/3, Town Hall Pictures £136 18/8, Worker's dwelling CIS 7/4, waterworks £3(ili 19/5.
