AS BAD AS STEALING
RECEIVING STOLEN GOODS. Christchurch, August 5. For receiving’ goods knowing them to have been stolen, William Roy Burns, aged 31, married, a dealer, was sentenced (by Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., to three months’ hard labour. “Receiving stolen goods is as bad as stealing them," said the Magistrate.
