HOLE IN BULLS BRIDGE.
A. DANGER TO TRAFFIC. It was reported to Tuesday’s meeting of the Manawatu County Council that a large hole had appeared in the Bulls bridge over the Rangitikei River, on the Sanson side. Cr. W. E. Pearce drew the council’s attention to / the matter and expressed the opinion that it was high time the Rangitikei County Council had taken action. The hole was as large as one of the council chairs and was a menace to trafliic. ICir. J. TV Melvelvie also remarked tiipoh’'the danger and was unable to understand why it had been left 'so long unattended. The county clerk (Mr. A. K. Drew) said he had mentioned the matter when' in Bulls a few days previously, and the meeting decided to request the Rangitikei County Council's attention to the trouble.
