METHODIST LADIES GUILD.
A most enjoyable “open” afternoon was held at the Parsonage yesterday by members of the Methodist Ladies Guild. There was a good attendance and an. interesting competition was won by Mrs. Hughes. Business relative to the Guild was transacted and Mrs. Tapp elected president. Mrs. J. G. Honore, who has filled this position for many years, was accorded a vote of thanks, and unanimously elected vice-president. Mesdame3 W. Young and S. E. Cowley were elected joint secretaries. Arrangements were made for the next Guild meeting and a social evening to be held in th schoolroom on Tuesday evening. A tasty afternoon tea was dispensed and the vote of thanks to Mrs. Tapp for the use of the parsonage brought to a close a pleasant afternoon.
