TO,WIN HALL. 11. B. Warner, Gertrude Astor and Eve Southern head a big' cast in “The Naughty Duchess,” next Saturday’s picture at the Town Hail. Circumstances prolong the adventure, over a week etui result in many it musing contretemps. The story is adapted from Sir Anthony Hope's novel, “The Indiscretion of the Duchess." Brices as usual. An intimate, sophisticated revelation of newly-married life is contained in Universal’s clever comedy "Honeymoon Flats,” which is at the ■■Town Hail on Monday with George Lewis a lid Dorothy Gulliver co-slarritig.-“--The:story is weU-diree- 1 ted, snooth and progresses evenly under 'increasing’ suspense to the very last seem*. It is all about Ibe young Flay tons, the girl a . daughter of wealthy parents, and the hoy a struggling •young college 1 graduate who insists that lie sup-’ port his wife on .his own salary despite his nidi tier-in-law’s patronizing, altitude. It also concerns a Mend who is manned, both lie and his wife having their private love affairs. These are worked into the Story neatly. .The picture is revealing and interesting, especially to nil people who still consider marriage a romance and even to those who don’t but diil at least during the tirst year. “Honeymoon Flats, permits (.hem to peek behind the boudoir.,curtains: into the life of a voting couple, who are more or less ha (tied and bewildered by their new status. The quarrels are humorous and the “in-laws” hutting in oil everything, add much to the hilarity of this intensely human comedy * of affairs. George Lewis and Dorothy Gulliver are both very good in their roles. Bryant Washburn and Jane Winton are the other married couple. The picture also ; has a large supporting cast.
