BIGAMY CHARGE.

MAN PLEADS GUILTY. Dunedin, June 2/. At tile Police Court, Edward John Heuery pleaded guilty to bigamy, and was committed for sentence. The evidence showed that when lie was 19 years old, on leave from tlie war, lie married at Durham, England, in 1918 under the name of Howard. He later came to New Zealand and lived at Gore and Invercargill. There were six children alive. He left his wife in November, and in April of this year he married another girl in Dunedin, signing his name as -John William Henry.
