THE TRIAL OF MUNN.

The appeal of Arthur Thomas Ahum, who is sit present under sentence of death at Mount Eden gaol for the murder of his wife at Northcote on February 11, will c-oiue before the Court of Appeal in Wellington this week. Mr. Northcroft, counsel for Muon, left for Wellington last evening. The appeal is based on the question of admissibility of certain evidence, objection to which was taken by Mr. Northcroft at the trial. Air. Justice Herdman has stated a case for consideration by the Appeal Court.
