FOXTON DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL.

With the sanction of the School Committee the teachers and pupils of the Secondary Department of: the Foxton 'District High School are holding a "shop day" on Saturday next, 21st inst. 'The object is to raise funds for the purchase of two sewing machines and some framed pictures tor the High School, and to augment the sports and social fund. The headmaster wishes it to lie known that the money raised for the machines and pietmres will eurrv £1 for £1 Government subsidy, ami he solicits any assistance the public may feel disposed to render, either by gifts of saleable goods of any kind or by making purchases at the “shop.”
