BASKET BALL.
The annual meeting of the Foxton Basket Ball Club was held in the Presbyterian Sunday sehoolloom on Thursday evening, when there was a good attendance of players present. The election of officers resulted as follows: Captain: Miss N. Dunn; vicecaptain: Misst I. Easton; secretary: Aliss J. Thynne. A number of new members were elected. It was decided to write to Aliss V. Bindon tjiafiking her for the assistance she rendered the 'Club last season. The Club also desires to thank all who in any way assisted the C’luh during the past year.
