WORK. TO BE COMMENCED MONDAY. Mr. W. Jack (inspector to the lloi-owhemia Power Board) was in l-'ox-toii yesterday in connection with the installation locally of community lighting. He has been suo-,-cssfal to date in securing- twenty iwo applications ui this connection v iiicb number warrants the Boaid taking the matter up. Mr. Jack informed our representative that the wiring work in connection with the verandahs would he commenced oil Monday. A separate street line would have lo be run to the sub-sta-tion at the end of Main Street when ■tile time clock would be installed, but, he anticipated that the whole installation would be completed within a fortnight-
