BODY FOUND ON BEACH.
WELLINGTON, June 4. Tire body of ;i woman named Mrs Emma Samis, of 43 Victoria Street, y etone, was found on , the Petone beach, about 100 yards west of the "barf, by the police yesterday. Mrs Sands, who was about 60 years of age, leaves a husband and daughter, both of whom went away early in the morning, and bad not returned late last night. The body bad only been in the water a few hours, and there is no evidence to show how it got there,
