GIRL FALLS FROM MOTOR LORRY.

Afiss Jean Golev, daughter of Air. and Airs. J. Coley, op Johnston St., had a narrow escape from serious injury yesterday. In company with Afiss .lean (Robbie, of Alanawatu Heads and another girl, a visitor to Eoxton, she was riding on the rear of a motor lorry which was being driven along (he old river bed at the Beach by Mr. R. Roay, of Foxlon. The driver gave an exhibition of “broadsiding” which unseated Miss Coley and she was thrown heavily on her shoulder. An examination however disclosed fhc fact that she was not serious!v injured and she was conveyed to her home.
