FONTON possesses a ual.ura.l aero(irottie at the seaside, easily discernible from Hie air by the river mouth and Kapil i Island, with a. linn sandy inundation for safe landing and taking off. It is conveniently located lor . efuelling and other purposes on the inter-island air roule. The area is controlled by the Harbour Hoard, which body, if approached by those interested would, we feel eonlident, place no obstacle in the way of having Ibe area set aside Lor the purpose indicated. A generous oiler has been made by a local resident Lo erect a hangar, free of cost, provided the material is donated. Possibly the Chamber of Commerce could formulate some, proposal to submit to the Harbour Hoard and Government in connection with the matter.
