SALVATION ARMY HARVEST FESTIVAL SERVICES.

The series of Harvest Festival services which have been conducted over the week end by Hie local Salvation Army Corps culminated last evening with a most entertaining concert, and sale of produce. jThe items of the children pleased the large attendance immensely ami lhc •tuneful singing' was quite infectious —til, times everyone joined in. The following programme was given:—Scripture reading: Miss F. Andijbw's; recitation: Alias .D. Coley; solo on washboard: Lieutenant A. Stall,; action service: “No joke to be a Ini by;" duet: Aliss F. Symons and Lieutenant: Staff,; dialogue: “The Old Folks at, Home;’ community sneeze: by congregation; recitation: Ensign L Smith; dialogue: “The dirty boy," by Lieutenant. Stall and young folk. Chairman: Captain <!. Lee. During the evening Ensign Smith sincerely thanked the energetic Levin officers who came over and assisted so materially to make the services such a .success. Mr Woodrool'e very kindly disposed of all Hie gifts of produce, etc., at satisfactory prices, and the local funds will he greatly augmented.
