(UDDCRY, FRA' AND HUDSON

Dunedin, March 20.

.Monday marked ail important stage in the history of Otago, when the merger took effect of two large and important business concerns —Cadlmry Bros. Ltd., and R. Hudson and Co., Ltd., in the nianulactmv of chocolate, confectionery .md other goods.

The business will be curried on under the style of Cadbury, Fry and Hudson Ltd. Mr. George Sara (representing the Dunedin firm) conducted the opening negotiations, and arrangements made by him were finalised by Mr. IBarrow Cadbury on bis visit to Dunedin a month ago. The directors will lie Messrs Richard Hudson (chairman), G. Sara, It. G. Hudson and V. C. Smith.
