TOWN HALL. Harold Lloyd comedies have been famous as laugh getters for some years, and the announcement of a new Lloyd picture is always welcome. The amusing star’s latest success, “The Kid Brother,” will, head to-morrow's programme at the Town r!nil. “The Kid Brother” is one of the swift moving types of comedy Lloyd has associated himself with. As the youngest brother of strong men, Lloyd suffers all the indignities a kid brother invariably has to endure. Rut when the final lcs( comes it is this same “youngmi” who scores the points. On the same programme is a further episode of “Trail of the Tiger” (Serial), “Oh Afnimny” (Comedy), and News. Prices as usual.
Saturday’s programme will be a double feature one. Robert Hiclicii’s novel “After the Verdict,” has been piefurised and is the Ist feature. A Rex Bell western drama, “Taking a Chance” is the other feature so that Saturday’s patrons should he well entertained by these Iwo totally dissimilar pictures. Prices will be as usual.
