LOCAL RESIDENTS CAR STOLEN.

Mr. I. Corn, of .Foxton, had the misfortune to have his ear stolen while on a visit to Napier last week. He parked the vehicle outside the Clarendon Hotel on Thursday evening- and in the morning found it had disappeared. <lle immediately got in touch with the police and after notifying them of his loss had tti return home by train arriving in Foxton last night. He received word yesterday, however, that the ear had been located in the basement of the hotel where it had been placed after it had been used.
