METHODIST CHURCH
In beautiful weather and amidst pleasant surroundings, the Methodist Social Guild spent an enjoyable afternoon yesterday at the residence of Mrs. \\. E. Bullard, Avenue Hoad. There was a good attendance. A croquet competition was 'keenly contested and created much interest. Mr. Shanks carried off the first prize. Afternoon tea was served by the hostess who was assisted by several helpers. It was decided to hold a shop day in aid of the church funds on l he 2!Jth inst. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the hostess for her' hospitality.
