Blaelder, single, an inspector of permanent ways for the Railway Department, was travelling Irom Taumarunui to Te Kuiti this afternoon on a motor jigger when he met a ballast train between Okahukura and Taringamotu. Blackler was 'killed almost instantaneously and was badly cut. _ ; j Deceased resided at Te Kuiti and ’ f" -has relatives in Australia.
