HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The Department of Agriculture Ims received the following cablegram, dated Ist instant, from the
High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: — Hemp:—Manila market continues dull and barely steady. “J” grade March-May shipment value £3l.
Sisal market quiet with easier tendency. Good marks No. 1 Febi uarv-April shipment and MarchMay shipment quoted at close sellers £35, No. 2 £34. Fair average quality 10/- less. New Zealand market dull with more disposition to sell. First hand business reported during this week in March-April shipment, high fair £32, fair £2B 10/-, common £27 5/-, No. 3 tow £l7 10/-. Buyers ideas now 10/- below these prices.
