DRUIDS’ PICNIC.
Over “00 Druids’ Lodge members iboin Palmerston North, Leviu, Shannon, Marion and Foxton were present at the combined picnic arranged by the Foxton Lodge at Manawatu heads on Sunday. An enjoyable, day was spent on the sands, bathing and sports events l'or all being popular. Results of the latter were as follows : Single ladies, Miss King I, Trigill “: sitting officers. McGill 1, Fuller and W’estwoud dead heat, 2: tug-of-war, G. West-wood’s single team 1 , married men’s 2; 100yds. open, D. Ball 1, T. Melville 2, R. Ball 3: married ladies, ist heat, Mrs. Mohekey 1; 2nd heat, Mrs. King: final, Mrs. King; three-legged race. Miss Bo taro If and Air. AIc(lill 1: chain stepping (ladies), Airs Wiggins (Shannon) 1: chain stepping (gents), Air. T. Fuller 1; sisters' 75yds., Miss Trigill 1, Mrs. King 2; 200yds. relay, (D. Ball, Melville, Wjestwood, Cull) 1; old buffers' race, F. Woods and F. Smith dead heat 1, C. Character 3; past officers race, 100 yds., Melville 1, D. Ball 2: hop, step and jump, K. Ball 1, AlcGill 2.
