SCHOOL EXCURSION AND PICNIC.
The annual school railway exi nrsipii and picnic at Ashhurst will take place to-morrow. The. committee and teaching staff have finalised all details and provided the weather conditions are favourable, a most enjoyable outing is promised. A special train will convey the party to and from Ashhurst and will leave Foxton at 7.45 a.m. The fares arc as follows: School children 1/0, senior scholars 2/-, adults 3/6. Tickets may be obtained on the train or at the station.
