EXCURSION TO ROTORUA

The week-end excursion to Rotorua arranged by the Railway Department for the next week-end offers an opportunity of a most enjoyable outing. The excursion train leaves 'Wellington on Friday, 28th February at 4.30 p.m., Palmerston North 7.27 p.m. and arrives Rotorua 7.4(1 a.m. Saturday. The return fare from Wellington is £2 and from all other stations Hawke’s Bay, Wairarapa, Manawatu, Wanganui, Taihape areas second class single fare less 10 percent. This exceptionally cheap fare is all the more attractive when it is found that the train is made up of only first-class carriages; also a sleeping car. The accommodation charges at Rotorua are also specially reduced to excursionists, and accommodation can be secured at stations without fee when purchasing train tickets.
