The screen production is an absorbing and human tale of a young and beautiful girl, wise beyond her twenty years, hard-boiled as she needs must be to play the part in life she docs, that of a “come-on” for a seaside amusement concession known as “Hell.” She sickens of the life she is leading and finds a way out by marrying a young chap who is keeper of a lighthouse.
